Almost all of the sport teams in the United States have their own respective cheerleading squads. Be it basketball or football, the players are constantly cheered by their corresponding dancers and cheerers to uplift their fighting spirit during an event or game. Most of them are dressed in skimpy little skirts and sexy shirts with gold accessories and pom-poms held in their hands.
One of the famous cheerleading teams in the US is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They spread joy and merriment to every crowd by giving exuberant yells and routines. They give honor and prestige to the team they are cheering for, the Dallas Cowboys. They provide great performances in every football game participated by their group.
During the 60’s, the original name of the group is “Cowbelles and Beaux” which was composed of male and female performers. However, they’ve decided to alter their current image and figure into a more sexy and girly one. Soon, they removed the male dancers and later created the group into “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” in the year 1969.
The performers were not only seen in football grounds, but in the television as well. Some may wonder where to sell gold. Some of the dancers appeared in various programs including The Love Boat, Hard Knocks and Harry and the Hendersons. They also have their own TV movie show which was first showed on January 1979.
